Babu Credits Lokesh For WhatsApp Governance

One of the flagship improvements from the government of Andhra Pradesh came in the form of the introduction of the WhatsApp governance framework that came to effect from yesterday. This program now brings 161 civil services at the comfort of fingertips for the people of Andhra Pradesh who can access the same through WhatsApp.

In this context, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu who had been pioneering the e-governance system in the state has credited his son Nara Lokesh for this program. Though all praises were landing on Babu for envisioning this visionary system, he rightly pointed out that Lokesh who had envisioned this program in the first place and promised about the same right during his Yuva Galam Padayatra days.

About the same, Babu tweeted “Today, the GoAP dedicated the “Mana Mitra” initiative to the people of Andhra Pradesh. This landmark initiative, which brings 161 civil services to the fingertips, reflects our commitment to accessible governance. The idea was conceptualized by our IT Minister, Nara Lokesh during his Yuvagalam Padayatra.”

Notably, it was Lokesh who first set out to implement this ambitious project in order to streamline and facilitate government works for the common folk. He sat down for multiple meetings with the heads of Meta to incorporate this program that can be found nowhere else on earth.

This could well be considered as one of the most significant brainchilds of Lokesh and encapsulates his own vision apart from that of his father, legendary Chandrababu.
