TDP cadres worldwide are largely in approval of the arrest of Vallabhaneni Vamsi, who crossed all limits while abusing Chandrababu’s family and even vandalized the TDP office in Gannavaram. They credit Nara Lokesh for his fearless and assertive approach in this matter.
However, other YSRCP leaders like Perni Nani and Kodali Nani also targeted Chandrababu during Jagan’s tenure. Additionally, they are facing multiple allegations, including their involvement in the PDS rice smuggling case. Despite these accusations, they seem completely unbothered by any legal consequences.
Amid this, Perni Nani openly challenged Nara Lokesh today, daring him to have him arrested if he could.
“Lokesh and Kollu Ravi have been making tall claims about arresting me and Kodali Nani since November-December. But they haven’t even touched me till now. Here I am, walking freely on the roads. I challenge them to come after me if they can,” Perni Nani declared today.
He further stated, “Naa bongulo arrest, naa ventruka kooda oodadu” (loosely translating to “Forget about arresting me, they can’t even touch a strand of my hair”), making his stance clear in front of the media.
The fact that Perni Nani—who was recently named in a PDS rice smuggling case, where hundreds of government rice bags allegedly went missing from his godown in Machilipatnam—is now openly challenging Lokesh has become a major talking point. His apparent lack of fear regarding legal action is evident.
