For the first few weeks, after the Andhra Pradesh election, YSR Congress leaders carried the narrative that there was certain EVM tampering in the recent election. However, they have changed the route now and shifted the platform from EVM tampering to Jamili elections.
In his latest briefing to the media; Ambati Rambabu, who is a very entertaining vocalist, made a series of interesting remarks. You want Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan and Nara Lokesh of serious consequences once the YCP comes to power again after the Jamili election.
“Pawan Kalyan showed his slipper to Jagan while he was CM but he didn’t face any legal consequences. Ayyannapatrudu used abusive language on Jagan but he was pardoned and given speaker post. Chandrababu himself abused Jagan multiple times. But none of them are facing any legal consequences. However, they’re torturing a commoner like Posani Krishna Murali through police cases. I have this one thing to say. Once YCP returns to power after Jamili election, you will be paying for your misdeeds.” Rambabu warned.
Ambati was particularly agitated about Nara Lokesh as he said “Lokesh is the one who is writing this book and giving instructions on whom to arrest, and when. He will definitely face the music when we return to power in Andhra Pradesh and everyone who is abusing power today will be made to pay the price. Even if the Jamili elections don’t come: there’s only 3 and half years for election, they must note”.
After having abused power endlessly for the last five years of Jagan’s tenure, YCP is now resulting to the same formula and warning, the NDA government of consequences. But the point that must be noted, here is that every single YCP spokesman and leader who was arrested till now had a bad record. There is virtually zero sympathy on any of them in the public that is going to play a crucial role in terms of shift in public mandate.
