The counting for Bihar Assembly elections and Dubbaka by-poll is underway this morning. In Bihar, the Janata Dal (United) and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) are going neck-to-neck along with BJP. Surprisingly the Left parties are leading in a few constituencies but the trend of counting shows that Bihar is heading for a hung assembly.
Coming to Dubbaka, BJP is leading after the first two rounds. BJP’s candidate Raghunandan Rao took the lead from the first round and after completion of second round counting, he has a lead over 1135 votes. 1,64,192 votes have been polled for the Dubbaka elections and if this trend continues, Raghunandan Rao could well enter the Assembly.
Madhya Pradesh also went for by-poll for 28 constituencies. BJP is leading in 17 of them while Congress took lead in seven segments.
