After facing relentless oppression and battering for five years under Jagan’s rule, the capital project of Amaravati is now regaining its lost sheen. The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu and his Cabinet Minister Narayana have made it very clear that Amravati is going to prosper under this new government.
In accordance with this, the rebuilding works of Amaravati are starting in a few days, and the AP government is sorting out the financial matters related to the same.
On this note, chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu, who confirmed a while back that Prime Minister Modi will be invited for the relaunch of the Amaravati project. He implied that the prime minister will be a part of the Amaravati 2.0 project and sounded very confident about the same.
Earlier, Modi was a part of the inauguration of Amaravati in the first place back in 2015. Now, a decade later, he is going to be a part of the relaunch program, coincidentally the same chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu.
Cabinet minister Narayana confirmed that the Amaravati project will be completed in three years i.e., by 2028. The primary line of duty here is the completion of the social infrastructure in the capital region, followed by allocation of buildings for government offices. The process will be streamlined and simultaneous one.
Financial support will be provided by institutions such as the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank, which are expected to contribute ₹13,400 crore. Additionally, KfW Bank will provide ₹5,000 crore, while HUDCO is set to release ₹11,000 crore within the next two to three days. The Central Government will also be offering grants.
