Bihar Election: NDA Wins 125, To Form Government

Bihar Election results declared for 243 seats out of the total 243. NDA wins 125 seats with a complete majority for the need 122 to win and Nitish Kumar gets a clear mandate to form the government.

RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav led Mahagathbandhan managed to win 110 seats. AIMIM wins 5, BSP wins 1, LJP wins 1 and Independent wins 1. RJD emerges as the single largest party.

BJP claimed victory in Bihar before the actual results are out with PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah tweeting about the same. Modi and Shah thanked the people of Bihar for backing the NDA and said it would work for the balanced development of every person and region.

While NDA registered a victory in Bihar, the BJP’s win at Dubbaka By-polls in Telangana surprised all.
