The next generation pioneer and the designated scion of Telugu Desam Party, Nara Lokesh has been very proactive when it comes to inviting investments to Andhra Pradesh. In the process, Lokesh inaugurated the Ashok Leyland plant in Nuzvid today.
This was something interesting happened as Lokesh was arriving at the inauguration ceremony, amidst the huge crowds that had turned up to greet him.
The crowds that had piled up to greet Lokesh happened to have a flexi of Junior NTR. Then, a few excited onlookers requested Lokesh to hold the flexi of Lokesh and he happily obliged. In the attached video, we see Lokesh holding the flexi of NTR and this incident gave instant groups to the Nandamuri and TDP groups.
While political opponents have always been trying to project the gap between NTR and Lokesh, this was always gunned down by Lokesh. When Lokesh was asked about the prospect of inviting NTR into TDP while he was partaking in the Yuvagalam Yatra, he happily replied “Anyone who is willing to work for TDP is readily welcomed to join the party. Likewise, NTR can also come and be a party of our party.” He stated.
Usually, when there’s detrimental talk on political matters, politicians avoid doing something unconventional. But Lokesh had no such apprehensions as he readily held the flexi of NTR upon the request of the crowds that had gathered to greet him.
Post that, Lokesh went on to inaugurate the Ashok Leyland plant and congratulated the automotive company on the accomplishment.
