Sai Reddy Ignores Jagan, Supports KTR

Published by

From being the thick of friends and well wishers for many decades, Jagan and Vijay Sai Reddy aren’t even in a position to bear each other’s sight. While Jagan indirectly says Sai Reddy lost his credibility by leaving YCP, the latter says it is Jagan’s coterie that drove him away and says Jagan still isn’t grasping what’s happening.

While this detachment between the two of them is growing by the day, something indicative happened again yesterday. While tweeting about the burn delimitation issue, Sai Reddy conveniently ignored Jagan and strategically praised KTR.

About the delimitation topic, Reddy tweeted “Agree with the concerns of all South Indian states that a delimitation based solely on population will hurt us. While the concerns are genuine, the statement by HM Amit Shah ji that no South Indian state will lose seats and that fair increase will take place is also reassuring.”

AP has 4.6% of Lok Sabha seats and UP has 14.7%, any increase should maintain that same percentage in the new LS. I also agree with @KTRBRS garu’s suggestion that corresponding MLA seats should also increase within the states to take governance closer to our people.”

It is very clear that Sai Reddy approved the argument made by KTR in terms of categorising South Indian states based on their contribution to the GDP rather than population.

However, it must be noted that even Jagan had written a letter to Modi asking to reconsider the logical choices related to the delimitation exercise. However, this did not receive any recognition from Vijay Sai Reddy as he confined his praises to KTR and left Jagan at bay. It appears that he can’t even mention Jagan’s name for any which reason these days.
