In a quick retort to TDP supremo and Opposition leader’s comments that the Andhra Pradesh government has become a stone in the hands of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, whom he termed as a madman, minister Kodali Nai responded in his habitual harsh language and called Chandrababu Naidu a
madman.
“He gave birth to a boulder stone-like Lokesh Babu and flung him on the Andhra Pradesh state. Lokesh does not know the difference between a fisheries lake and paddy fields as he is another madman. It would be better if Chandrababu Naidu can learn some discipline and speak properly in his twilight years,” he suggested.
“The people in Andhra Pradesh know how intelligent Naidu is and they also are aware of cheap tricks Naidu played in politics. It is for the same reason, people in AP have restricted TDP to 23 seats and also defeated Lokesh Babu from Mangalagiri constituency,” the firebrand YCP leader reminded.
On the mass suicide of Abdul Salam and his family, a native of Nandyal, who allegedly ended his life unable to bear police torture, the CM has asked for filing of a case and arrest of those found guilty in the case. “The CI and other officials were also suspended immediately and sent to the court.”
“Meanwhile, one advocate, who has been appointed as TDP state committee secretary Ramachandra Rao, argued in the court and secured bail for those arrested in connection with the case. YCP leaders do not know how to present their cases in courts and get stuck up in jails for 16 months and more but when TDP advocates get into the courts, they give the bail.”
Now, when a TDP lawyer had acquired bail to the accused in connection with the minority family’s death, the TDP supremo is fuming at the YCP government that it is responsible for the Nandyal tragedy. “Don’t you feel ashamed to slam the CM even when your party men had secured bail to the guilty arrested by the YCP government,” he asked.
Moreover, the TDP leaders are saying that lawyers of your party can practise their profession and that the party has no connection with that aspect, Nani ridiculed.
On the housing scheme for the poor, the minister said that 11 lakh houses were missing. “Naidu claims he got 13 lakh houses constructed but there are only 2 lakh there.”
“To build those houses, he got Rs 1.50 lakh subsidy from the Centre, took Rs 1 lakh from the beneficiaries, raised bank loans of Rs 3 lakh in the name of each beneficiary. He took money from all the 13 lakh beneficiaries but started construction of only 2 lakh houses. He did not pay remuneration to the contractors too. The colonies in which these houses were constructed do not have basic facilities like roads, drinking water, drainages,” he alleged.
He fumed at Naidu for moving the court when Jagan Mohan Reddy planned to distribute 30 lakh house sites and get them registered in the name of women. Nani alleged that Naidu spent Rs 25 crore on filing cases in connection with the sites in the High Court and Supreme Court and got stay orders which prevented distribution of the sites. “Now, Naidu says he would try to get the constructed houses distributed by Sankranti,” he reminded.
Nani said that Naidu need not wait till Sankranti for distributing the houses but get the stay orders vacated to enable distribution of the house sites and the constructed houses before December 21, the birthday of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
“You stop being diplomatic and try to look into the welfare of the poor before your death. Stop blabbering on zoom app and ask your “dabba” media to stop promoting your silly statements,” he suggested.
The minister made disparaging remarks against Naidu and called him “Gunta Nakka” who is used to playing cheap tricks in politics and embezzling crores of rupees that belonged to the poor.
Chandrababu Naidu had worked for 10 international brokers during his tenure, he alleged.
But, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is a different person who is striving for the welfare of the marginalised, minorities, women and backward caste people, Nani asserted.
He also faulted Naidu for showering false love on the minorities now while not giving any plum posts to the Muslims during his tenure. “He had an alliance with the BJP and always feared if that party would feel hurt if Muslims were given prominence,” he alleged.
