Palnadu is known for its bravery and strong political battles. In the past, a fight for power between Brahma Naidu and Nagamma led to the famous Palnati War. Now, a similar political fight is happening between Narasaraopet MP Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu and YSRCP leader, former minister, and ex-MLA of Chilakaluripet, Vidadala Rajini. Both leaders are accusing each other, and the issue is getting serious.
What Is the Controversy?
There are many stone crusher businesses in Palnadu. The main allegation is that when Rajini was a minister, she threatened the owner of Balaji Stone Crushers and took ₹2 crore from him. It is also said that former IPS officer Joshua helped her in this matter. Police claim that Rajini’s relatives were involved too. Because of these allegations, the government ordered an investigation, and the ACB (Anti-Corruption Bureau) has now registered a case.
Did Rajini Try to Settle the Issue?
MP Lavu today made a shocking statement, claiming that Vidadala Rajini tried to approach him for a settlement. According to him, Rajini sent mediators to discuss the case and possibly find a way out. However, Rajini has strongly denied this and insists that she is being targeted unfairly.
Political Blame Game
Vidadala Rajini says that MP Lavu is behind this case and that she is being targeted for political reasons. She claims she is innocent and that this is a plan to trouble her. Rajini also says she has always worked for the people and their rights, and that Lavu is trying to push her out of politics.
On the other hand, MP Lavu says he has nothing to do with this case. He denies any connection with the stone crusher owner. He maintains that Rajini herself tried to mediate with him through intermediaries, which he refused. Lavu insists that Rajini is the main accused and must face the case.
A Long-Standing Rivalry
This fight is not new. Lavu and Rajini have been political rivals for the last five years. When Lavu was MP, Rajini reportedly interfered in his work and created obstacles for him. There were also reports of attacks on Lavu’s followers during that time. Rajini even set rules that no work could happen in the constituency without her approval. These past issues made things difficult for Lavu back then, and now, they are once again causing problems between them.
