The central government has sanctioned ₹97.52 crore for the development of Sunrise Beach in Bapatla district. These funds have been allocated under the Swadesh Darshan Scheme 2.0 to enhance tourism infrastructure and facilities.
Andhra Pradesh tourism minister Kandula Durgesh reacted on this significant financial allocation, and he thanked the central government for the support.
This comes shortly after achieve minister, Chandrababu Naidu held a conference with collectors today. In this meeting, Chandrababu announced that every collector must identify a tourism location in their district and work towards localised development of tourism industry.
