From Hi-Tech City to Quantum Valley: Chandrababu, a True Reformer

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is a tech-savvy leader and shows readiness to align technology with administration to make it transparent and seamless. With stress on Artificial Intelligence on the rise, Naidu underlined the need to adopt AI in various sectors. Over 65 per cent of Indians make use of AI compared to the global 30 percent, he observed and urged students to use AI for real-time decision-making and lead in emerging technologies like quantum computing.

He was speaking at the All India Research Scholars Summit (AIRSS)-2025 at IIT-Madras. He exuded confidence that young scholars and entrepreneurs would make a mark in the future of the country by leading others. He said that the South is leading others in all aspects, while the North is also catching up fast.

He told the students that Andhra Pradesh was ready to support innovative business with proof-of-concept opportunities. Naidu, known for his administrative skills and tech-development works, urged the students to develop leadership qualities among themselves and lead the country in the future. Right leadership and technological advancements will take the country towards double-digit economic growth. India has rapidly grown in the economic sector from the world’s fifth-largest economy in 2021. The country has the potential to ascend to the first or second place by 2047, he said.

He said Andhra Pradesh is collaborating with IIT Madras, IBM, TCS and the central government to advance deep technology.

On India’s digital revolution, the CM said Aadhaar and UPI are examples of successful innovations. By December 2024, India had achieved Rs 1,673 cr UPI transactions with an annual value exceeding $2.4 trillion.

Naidu also spoke of AP’s ambitious plans of promoting green energy and establishing Quantum Valley in Amaravati with the help of IIT-Madras.
