In a dramatic political twist, retired IPS officer Alluri Bala Venkateswara Rao (ABV) has officially entered the political arena, declaring war on former Andhra Pradesh CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Speaking from a village in Konaseema district, ABV announced, “From this moment, I am stepping into politics—not for power, not for position, but with a mission: to hold Jagan accountable.”
ABV, who faced repeated suspensions and professional setbacks during the YSRCP regime, accused Jagan of using his power to target honest officers. Despite winning legal battles and being reinstated, ABV said he was denied justice throughout his final years in service. “I was humiliated, sidelined, and made to suffer for doing my duty,” he said.
Now, under the new coalition government led by Chandrababu Naidu, ABV has been appointed as an official advisor. His dues from the suspension period—along with interest—have finally been cleared. Empowered and determined, ABV has decided to turn his personal struggle into a public fight.
During his visit to the family of Kodi Kathi Srinu—the man who once attacked Jagan and is now out on bail—ABV offered support and solidarity. “Srinu is not alone. There are countless others who’ve been crushed by Jagan’s regime. I will stand by every one of them.”
In a bold move, ABV shared a WhatsApp number—7816020048—for anyone wishing to report illegal activities linked to Jagan. “Share information fearlessly. I will keep your identity confidential. It’s time to bring Jagan’s dark deeds into the light.”
Though he hasn’t revealed which political party he’ll join, ABV made one thing clear: “My fight is not for a chair, but for change.”
With this entry, ABV becomes yet another major headache for Jagan, setting the stage for an explosive political battle in Andhra Pradesh.
