No Pact With Jana Sena; T-BJP Going Solo For GHMC

Published by

Hours after the Telangana Election Commission has announced the GHMC election schedule, all the political parties have begun the work.

Meanwhile the Telangana-BJP which is pumped with the victory in Dubbak by-election is exuding confidence. Party chief Bandi Sanjay along with Kishan Reddy, Laxman and a few more leaders met after the election notification was released. In this meeting the leaders of T-BJP have decided to go solo instead of pact with Jana Sena.

Speaking on the same Bandi Sanjay said, “No party has approached so far and so we have decided to fight the election alone. No poll pact with Jana Sena or any other party.” Adding the Karimnagar MP said “BJP’s prime opponent in the GHMC polls is MIM party because to win more seats, TRS will use MIM party and make them contest in more places. So our first target is MIM.”

Union minister Kishan Redy said BJP will win as many seats as possible to get the mayor seat. “The Hyderabad floods are an example of TRS government’s development in the last five years. We will prepare our election manifesto to counter TRS,” said Kishan Reddy.

But this is a surprise that Jana Sena and BJP are not coming together for elections. After forming an alliance in the Telugu states and at New Delhi level, they did not contest a single election. The GHMC election would have been a starter!
