Union Home Minister and BJP’s senior leader Amit Shah, who is in Hyderabad, has made interesting political comments. He reasserted that BJP will win the Greater Hyderabad civic polls and the city will get a BJP mayor. “I’m confident after the roadshow that this time BJP is not fighting to increase its seats or strengthen its presence, but this time Mayor of Hyderabad will be from our party,” said Amit Shah during the press conference in the city after his roadshow. He thanked people for the immense support to his roadshow. He described Hyderabad as “Mini Bharat”.
When asked about why a Union Home Minister is campaigning in local body elections, Amit Shah also retorted saying that no election in a democracy is “small”. “No election in democracy is big or small,” Amit Shah said. He said that the change in Telangana has begun and it will mark with the local body elections. Shah called for the end of dynasty politics in Telangana. He alleged that both Owaisi and KCR are doing dynasty politics and only letting their family members rule. He asked whether they have not found any other talented people. He also alleged that Owaisi and KCR are cooperating with each other and fooling people. He said Nizam and Nawab rule is no longer going to stay in Hyderabad.
Shah said BJP will put an end to them. He alleged that the land encroachments in the city have increased and it resulted in the recent floods. He appealed to the people of Hyderabad to give one chance to BJP and the encroachments in the city will end. He added that Hyderabad will see development under BJP rule and not appeasement. Shah noted that the people of Telangana have belief in BJP and already welcomed Modi ji in 2019 by winning the party in 4 Lok Sabha seats.
Talking about KCR’s comments on his plans for national politics, Amit Shah said KCR is welcome to tour around the country and do his politics. He threw a satire on KCR, “He did the same in 2019 as well. What happened? Today we are here.”
