Just a week after Union Home minister Amit Shah’s visit to Tamil Nadu, Superstar Rajinikanth has called for a meeting with his fans and office-bearers of his political party Rajini Makkal Mandram. This meeting of Rajini with fans and party leaders has garnered huge political importance.
There are also rumours that Rajinikanth is expected to make a political statement and the fans are anticipating this for a long time. Initially Rajini had no intentions of meeting anyone and work on the films that are in the pipeline. But the plans changed right after Shah’s visit and Rajini gave a call to fans and party leaders spread across 30 districts in the state. Obeying Rajini’s call, they reached Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam in Chennai on Monday morning for the meeting and they too are eager to hear what Rajini has to say.
From the TN sources we hear that Rajini for sure will be discussing about politics but the suspense is whether to make an alliance. The ruling AIADMK is already in alliance with BJP and Rajini wants to take the opinion of fans and his party leaders to become a third member of this alliance.
The outcome of this meeting is going to be very crucial and from DMK to Kamal Haasan many have set their eyes on this meeting as well.
