Industrialist and Narsapuram MP Raghurama Krishna Raju has undergone a major bypass surgery today in Mumbai. Following his health condition,Raju was advised bypass surgery. He was admitted to prestigious Asian Heart Institute, Mumbai where he underwent the surgery. Padmabhushan recipient Dr Ramakanta Panda has conducted the surgery, said Raghurama Krishna Raju’s family members. It is learnt that the surgery was successful. Raju has been advised medical rest and a team of doctors are constantly monitoring his health. Raju is going to be in the Intensive Care Unit after which he will be shifted to the private suit room.
“Thanks for all the prayers and blessings from his well wishers,” said Raju’s family members in a statement.
58-year-old Raju has been aggressively taking on his own YSRCP party. Raju’s comments have turned sensational and he has been making comments against the party and hitting the headlines.
Raju is the Chairman of Legislative Committee in the Parliament. While YSRCP had claimed that Raju got the plum post because of the party’s influence, Raju had openly denied those claims and stated his relation and bond with BJP’s top brass has yielded him the post. In fact, Raju has also claimed that he had won from Naraspuram Lok Sabha constituency on his individual charisma.
