Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan in his first reaction on the Greater Hyderabad election results, is all praise of the Telangana BJP and its leadership especially Bandi Sanjay whom he addressed as ‘Tiger’.
“I whole-heartedly congratulate BJP for their moral victory. BJP did not see the elections as GHMC’s but as the elections of a global city and so their central leadership campaigned in the city,” said Pawan speaking to media at Nellore.
Mentioning about Laxman, Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay, Pawan commented that Laxman is like a big brother to him whereas Kishan Reddy is a stable leader. “From 2008, I know Kishan Reddy personally and he is an efficient leader. He had visited my house when we had lost our father to offer condolences. And Telangana BJP received a strong leader like Bandi Sanjay. He fought the elections like a Tiger gathering all the BJP leaders and workers at one platform,” said Pawan Kalyan. He also thanked Bandi Sanjay for his special thanks on Twitter to Janasena Party and leaders in Telangana who supported BJP in the GHMC poll.
The results of GHMC have sent a strong signal to everyone, stated Pawan. On the Tirupati by-election, he said that a committee will decide whether Jana Sena or BJP candidate would contest the elections. “When I met JP Nadda in Tirupati, we discussed many issues including Tirupaty by-poll. I also want to take the opinion of Jana Sena’s cadre and leaders in Tirupati and then would decide upon the candidate,” concluded Pawan.
