CM Jagan: 80.9% Corona Cases Cured at Homes

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is at again. After being trolled for his remarks on using paracetamol and bleaching powder to kill corona virus, in his latest remarks stated that the majority of the corona virus positive cases would be cured at homes. Stating that 80.9% of corona positive cases are being cured at homes, YS Jagan said that only 14 percent of corona positive cases would require hospitalization and among them, only 4.8% reach upto Intensive Care Units.

CM Jagan said, however, Corona virus largely affects aged and elderly who are above 60-year-old and those who have diabetes, kidney-related ailments. He said the onus lies on everyone to save the elders of the family. He said the state government has taken effective measures including 470 ICU beds, 4 Critical Care hospitals exclusively for Covid-19 in Vijayawada, Nellore, Tirupati, Visakhapatnam and call-center.

CM Jagan said fortunately AP has got only 10 positive corona cases as the number is relatively less. He thanked God and said by God’s grace, AP got only 10 positive cases.

Talking about the issue of hostel students who tried to enter into AP from Telangana, CM Jagan said he had spoken to Telangana CM KCR who had assured them of accommodation and food. He said CM KCR ensured that the students would be taken care of. CM Jagan said it is not appropriate for the students to visit their families in AP as there is chance of spreading of virus. He asked everyone to cooperate in breaking the Corona virus transmission chain.
