Telangana CM KCR has headed to New Delhi today. He left on a special flight from Begumpet airport. KCR is expected to spend three days in the national capital. While some unconfirmed reports had it that he had sought PM Narendra Modi’s appointment, the same reports had it that PM’s appointment was denied. KCR is also going to meet Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and other available Union Ministers. The visit is not completely official as KCR has planned some crucial political meetings.
KCR is going to interact with farmers unions who have been protesting against the Centre’s 3 farm bills. As KCR made his stand clear and announced his party’s support for the Bharath Bandh, the bandh call given by farmers union, KCR’s meeting with farmers union gained significance.
KCR is also expected to meet some key leaders of political parties from the Opposition. Earlier, KCR had stated that he would take on the BJP at the national level and also stated that he could be the face of the united opposition against Modi. He said he could become the PM if all goes well.
Meanwhile, the TRS supremo is going to visit the site allocated by the Union Government to set up the TRS Party Office in Delhi. The Centre has allotted 1316 square yards of land in Vasant Vihar. It is buzzed that CM KCR may also lay the foundation stone for Delhi TRS Office during this visit.
