On Monday Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan visited Krishna district and made satirical comments on minister Kodali Nani, calling him ‘Bodi Lingam.’ And here comes the counter from Kodali and as usual, he went on to make belittling comments.
“It was Chandrababu and his partner Pawan Kalyan who set up and encouraged clubs in Vijayawada and many other places in AP. After YSRCP came to power, CM Jagan has ordered for closure of such clubs. Where was this Pawan then? It’s not us, it’s Pawan who should keep his mouth under control and talk. He received a package and is blabbering in front the crowd,” said Kodali.
Adding, the YCP minister said, “YCP respects all religions and Pawan who also says the same, called ‘Bodi Lingam’ which is equal to Lord Shiva and this shows his respect for Hindu religion. People are still seeing him as an actor and that’s why people made him ‘Bodi Lingam’ from the two places where he contested and lost. People of AP are now calling Pawan as ‘Shakeela Saab’ but not as ‘Vakeel Saab.”
Further Kodali questioned who asked Pawan to stop making films. “It was the same Pawan who said if Jagan becomes CM and does good governance, he would quit politics and do films. But no one has asked Pawan to stop films nor asked him to continue. It is up to Pawan on what to quit and what to hold on to,” said Kodali.
