TPCC Post: Not Revanth, Not Komatireddy

Published by

There is a lot going on in the Telangana Congress party since Tuesday morning. As we know the Congress high command has been working on the new T-PCC chief for over a month now. It looks like the Congress high command has found one and he is most likely to be MLC Jeevan Reddy.

This is a total surprise as until the other day MPs Venkat Reddy and Revanth Reddy were leading the race for the new T-PCC. In fact both the leaders have informed their followers that they are going to be the new boss of Telangana Congress. Unexpectedly Jeevan Reddy’s name is making a huge noise since this morning and leaders are congratulating him too.

According to the Congress party insiders, it was Sonia Gandhi who took the decision as she is well aware of Jeevan Reddy’s capabilities. Between 2004 and 2009, Jeevan Reddy did give a tough time for KCR during the Telangana agitation and moreover Jeevan is a controversy free man and has been a true Congressman for decades. These things have made Sonia to prefer Jeevan Reddy’s name for T-PCC chief siding Venkat and Revanth Reddy’s names.

The decision of the new T-PCC has reached the Gandhi Bhavan in a sealed cover. Telangana Congress in-charge Manickam Tagore and KC Venugopal are expected to announce a new T-PCC chief later this evening or tomorrow morning.

Meanwhile we hear that Revanth Reddy would get the post of Telangana Congress Campaign Committee while Venkat Reddy is expected to be inducted in Congress committee in New Delhi.

Along with the Congress high command will be announcing four more committees that will have place for all the upset seniors and juniors.
