Opposition leader and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu warned AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy that he too would meet the same fate as US former president Donald Trump.
Naidu said that Jagan is a psycho just like Donald Trump and it was for the same reason that Trump was shown the door. Even the psychologists said that Trump was having psychotic behaviour. Trump was denounced by the Americans for his ‘extremism,” Naidu reminded.
“Since the day Praja Vedika was razed, destruction has begun in the state. Jagan is also an ‘extremist’,” the TDP chief asserted.
Naidu wondered why the AP police were giving permissions for events but going back on their words and arresting leaders of the Opposition parties even before the said events were taking off.
“When I wanted to visit Vizag after the LG Polymers tragedy, they gave me permission but when I went to the city, the cops objected me. Similarly, our party wanted to take out Dharma Parirakshana Yatra in Tirupati. The police granted permission but with some conditions. However, TDP legislative party leader K. Atchannaidu was taken into custody even before he started off the yatra. What is all this you are doing,” Naidu questioned.
After the YCP government came to power, people are not being allowed to raise their voice against the atrocities and looting by YSR Congress. The leaders of Opposition parties are not being allowed to come outside and if they come, they are being arrested and hundreds of cases are being foisted against them, he lamented.
Try to arrest all the Opposition leaders at a time and put them in jail, Naidu challenged the YCP government.
Do you think the Opposition leaders would sit silent even in temples were being attacked, he questioned.
Naidu also took exception to the Christian leaders alleging that he made derogatory remarks against Christianity in the aftermath of desecration of Lord Rama’s idol at Ramateertham. “Why should I apologise to the Christians for no fault of mine,” the TDP chief asked.
He said that Jagan should try to learn to behave in a decent manner being an elected representative. “You impose restrictions on media without any fear. Don’t forget that this is democracy,” he added.
