Congress leader Rahul Gandhi sported a stylish look at the Parliament on Tuesday. His makeover made him look like super star Mahesh Babu in the film ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’.
Bharat, the protagonist of the movie, tries to carve his state into a development-oriented place by bringing about a change in the entire bureaucracy and accountability in the officials.
The makeover of the young Congress leader brought about a sea change in his looks that even their own party MPs could not identify him at the Parliament. Rahul, who usually wears a pyjama and kurta, suddenly switched to formal attire and wore trousers paired with half-hand sleeves. With a tablet in his hand, Rahul looked smart and sophisticated.
It took some time for his party MPs to identify him but they felt happy that the changed attire of their leader would bring in new vigour into the party. The video with Rahul’s latest look has become viral on social media.
Many Congress leaders are of the opinion that Rahul Gandhi should lead the Grand Old Party of India by getting involved with cadre. There is buzz that obliging to the words of the Congress veterans, Rahul would soon be heading the party. In the wake of this talk, several changes were visible in the young leader.
During his recent trip to Tamil Nadu, Rahul Gandhi moved and mingled with the party leaders there without any inhibitions and reservations. For a local YouTube channel in the southern state, he even participated in a video on preparation of mushroom biryani and even relished the dish.
Congress veterans say that their party leader is trying to groom himself to attract the youth. Hope this benefits the party and the cadre in the coming days.
