YS Sharmila has stepped into popular micro-blogging site, Twitter with the ID @realyssharmila. Her Twitter bio has an interesting bit. Sharmila’s walkathon details, when Jagan was in jail is mentioned in the bio.
“Y.S Sharmila Reddy is a thriving politician in the State of Telangana, India. D/O late CM Dr. YSR, she completed a mammoth 3112km walkathon on people’s issues,” sums up the bio of Sharmila.
And in her second tweet, Sharmila posted a video recalling all the brave women who took part in the Telangana movement but went unnoticed. Sharmila saluted all these women who fought for the separate statehood.
In the coming days Sharmila will be using this platform to counter the ruling TRS party and also build her own political party.
