Sharmila’s Party Name – YSRTP?

YS Sharmila’s political party launch in the Telangana state has gained steam. After holding meetings with party sympathisers and activists, Sharmila is speeding up the things. Insiders divulge that the party’s name has been finalised and it is going to be called as ‘YSRTP’ – YSR Telangana Party. This party is aimed at the development of Telangana and it would adopt late YSR’s ideology. “Rajanna Rajyam” is the agenda of the party.

The party’s flag will have three colours – Green, Blue and White which is likely to resemble YSR Congress Party in AP. The flag is likely to be formally unveiled in the Khammam public meeting that will be held on April 9th. The name of the political party will also be announced from the same stage.The party’s name is likely to get a formal approval from the Election Commission this week. Once it gets a nod from the EC, Sharmila is likely to speeden up further.

On 19th March, Sharmila is going to meet the leaders of Karimnagar district as part of her schedule. Sharmila wants to build a party from the roots.

Amidst formation of her new political party, reports have it that Sharmila is serious about contesting the election. It is heard that she has plans to contest the direct elections from two places – Hyderabad and Khammam. Sharmila’s supporters are hoping that Rajanna’s daughter would carry forward her father’s rich legacy and show her presence. It needs to be seen as three major political parties – TRS, BJP and Congress – are already clashing for power.
