Late YSR’s daughter Y.S. Sharmila paid tributes to her uncle Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy on the occasion of his second death anniversary observed at Pulivendula. At the same time, Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy’s family members remained absent from the programme.
Sharmila’s attendance at the programme has become talk of the town as political observers are perceiving it as a sign showing the differences between Sharmila and her brother Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. While Jagan is not showing any interest in probing the murder of their uncle Viveka despite pleas by her cousin and Viveka’s daughter Suneetha, Sharmila, in contrast, has attended the anniversary.
According to buzz in the political circles, Sharmila had announced that she would float her own political party in Telangana due to disputes with her brother in sharing of family assets.
Meanwhile, Avinash Reddy’s absence at the programme in the wake of Suneetha saying that she suspected the conduct of her cousin Y.S. Avinash Reddy and his father Y.S. Bhaskar Reddy in the matter gave support to her allegations. Viveka’s daughter suspected Avinash Reddy’s conduct because, she said that he was the first to reach the place of crime and all the cleaning was done in his presence.
Suneetha Reddy even moved the Andhra Pradesh High Court seeking CBI probe into the murder of former minister and MP, who was found murdered at his residence in Kadapa on March 15, 2019, ahead of the Assembly elections.
She also suspected the commitment of Jagan in ordering for the probe because he did not order for CBI investigation on it even after becoming the CM. Instead, he constituted a SIT which actually ended up interrupting the probe.
