E Surya Narayana Reddy alias Sureedu, a long-time personal aide of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, has been brutally attacked by his son-in-law Surendranath. According to the media reports, Surendranath attacked Sureedu with a cricket bat at the latter’s Jubilee Hills residence.
Apparently, Sureedu’s daughter Ganga Bhavani got separated from Surendranath and filed a domestic violence case against her estranged husband a few years ago. She didn’t withdraw the case even after Surendranath had asked her repeatedly and he even reportedly threatened her of dire consequences.
This morning, Surendranath rushed to Sureedu’s house and attacked him brutally with a cricket bat. Following a complaint filed by Sureedu’s daughter Ganga Bhavani, the Jubilee Hills Police booked Surendranath on the charges of attempt to murder and began the investigation.
