The country is witnessing second wave of Covid-19. With each day passing the new infections are on the rise and is causing a severe panic. In Telangana, the government schools and colleges have become epicentre of the second wave. Many students and teachers have fell prey for the virus.
In this view, the other day the Telangana government has announced closure of schools, colleges and universities. However, students were upset that they were forced to leave hostels in the last minute and even staged protest. Amidst this there are reports that the government might impose lockdown, if not night curfew but there is a lack of clarity.
Clearing the air surrounding many reports Telangana CM KCR make a clear statement that there is no question of imposing lockdown in the state. “Under any circumstance we shall not impose lockdown but the government is on high alert. I urge people to wear mask and follow the social distancing. With pain we had to close all the educational institutes in the state but it is temporary,” said KCR.
On the vaccination, the CM stated that Centre has control on vaccine distribution and it will equally disbursing vaccine to all the states in the country.
So with CM KCR clarifying about lockdown and vaccination, the rumours can rest now.
