BJP state president Somu Veerraju’s revelation that Prime Minister Narendra Modi predicted Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan would become the leader of Andhra Pradesh triggered a serious comment from YCP MP V. Vijayasai Reddy.
He mocked at Somu for trying to pacify Pawan by making the Chief Minister remarks as the BJP had kept Jana Sena away from the polls successively in Dubbak bypoll, GHMC in neighbouring Telangana and the Tirupati bypoll in Andhra Pradesh.
“Somu is trying to drop a biscuit to Pawan through his CM comment. While it is just the bypolls being held for the Tirupati Lok Sabha, why should there be comments about the Chief Minister,” Reddy wondered.
Hinting at the BJP, Reddy tweeted that the party which is making the offer does not have at least one MLA seat in the state while the party which is being offered (Jana Sena) does not have presence. When two beggars rub shoulders, only ash would drop down, he mocked and ridiculed that one who could not become an MLA would become the Chief Minister, pointing at Pawan.
Vijayasai’s tweet evoked strong opposition from netizens and Pawan’s fans. They took exception to the attitude being shown by Vijayasai Reddy against leaders of the Opposition.
