In the last 24 hours 1211 Corona positive cases have been confirmed in the country which made the tally to cross 10,000 mark. A total of 10,453 cases are reported and 358 people have died.
Experts believe that Corona will reach its peak in the country in June and July months and so there needs to be adequate measure to contain the virus.
Coming to the Telugu states, Telangana has reported 61 new cases on Monday and the total cases stand at 592. The active cases are at 472 and 103 people have got discharged. In Andhra Pradesh, the number of cases stand at 439.
Maharashtra is the state with maximum cases and the toll is nearing 2400. However, Corona is severe in Tamil Nadu and so far 1173 cases are confirmed in the state.
