Telangana’s senior political leader Mothkupalli Narasimhulu’s health condition is said to be critical. He contracted Coronavirus and he is being treated at a reputed hospital in Hyderabad. He has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit and is being monitored by a team of doctors. More details about his health condition are awaited.
Motkupalli hails from Nalgonda district of Telangana. He had been with the TDP since the party’s inception in March 1982. He had represented the Aleir Assembly constituency between 1983 and 2004. He also served as MLA from Thungathurthy Assembly constituency in 2009.
He had served as minister in Chandrababu Naidu’s government and was elected to AP Assembly for six times. He was the TDP’s politburo member. Narasimhulu had revolted against TDP and its president Chandrababu Naidu in 2018. He was expelled from the party. He later joined BJP. He is currently with the BJP.
