Actor and Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan, who tested Covid-19 positive and is under home quarantine, has breathed fire on Jagan administration for its decision to conduct the exams of 10th Class and Inter.
In a statement, Pawan has found fault with the government for going ahead and putting the lives of Class X students at risk. Citing the spike of Covid-19 cases, Pawan’s Janasena said that the students are vulnerable to novel yet dangerous Coronavirus. “When the people are highly worried over the health issues due to the intensity of Corona, the Andhra Pradesh government stuck to its guns and decided to go ahead with exams,” said Pawan.
“Holding 10th class exams when Corona at its peak is stupidity,” Pawan added. He said that the act drives lakhs of students and their parents into trouble. “Even CBSE has cancelled the exams and promoted the students. Will the AP government alone get bothered by military jobs?”
Pawan has demanded that AP government must cancel the 10th class and Intermediate exams immediately and further demanded the SSC Board and Intermediate Board of AP to promote students to upper classes.
