Telangana CM KCR who contracted Covid-19 a few days back, has tested negative of the virus today. In the rapid kit test, KCR results showed negative however, the officials have taken a second test through RT-PCR. The result of this test is yet to arrive and is most likely to be revealed tomorrow.
If KCR tests negative in RT-PCR test, it means he is out of the virus and danger but in case the result shows positive, KCR will have to undergo treatment for another couple of days.
These days second tests for Covid-19 have become common or mandatory because of the faulty rapid kit tests which are not showing appropriate results, leading to spread of virus even further.
Accordingly a team of doctors who are monitoring KCR’s health have sought a second opinion.
Meanwhile in Telangana, the cases are piling up. Everyday thousands of cases are getting reporting and patients are queuing up at hospitals. The government is making additional arrangements for beds.
