The Congress party is continuously targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the second wave of Covid-19. Despite the cases reporting over three a lakh for a week, the Centre has not announced any health emergency or lockdown in the country and is still struggling in logistics supply and there is no need to talk about vaccine shortage.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi yet again took a dig on Centre for its inefficiency. RaGa found fault with the BJP led government in New Delhi on its priorities. The Central Vista project which is for the construction of new Parliament would cost around Rs 20,000 crore. Despite the situation in Delhi, the works of the project is going on and the Centre has claimed that this is an ‘Essential Service’ which is a shocker.
“Central Vista- not essential. Central Govt with a vision- essential,” tweeted Rahul Gandhi. Not just the Congress, many opposition parties are pouring down criticism on BJP led government on the current works of Central Vista project.
Yes, the works could have been stopped and there is absolutely no loss to the Centre, if the project gets delayed. The money is eventually the tax payers and they can pull the resources again but invoking taxes on fuel.
