The death of 11 Covid-19 patients due to oxygen shortage at Tirupati’s SVR Ruia hospital has sparked an outrage as scores of netizens took to online to vent out their anger. #ResignJagan has been trending India-wide since the tragedy news broke out last night. Many from AP have condoled the deaths and blamed YS Jagan-led AP government over its failure.
While the AP government has ordered an inquiry into the incident, people have busted their anger online. Over 20,000 tweets were reported with the #ResignJagan hashtag.
Referring to CM Jagan’s recent tweet against Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, a netizen worte on Twitter, “Nobody came to save Tirupati People..Our CM busy in saving Modi..#ResignJagan.”
Meanwhile, a few others have shared Jagan’s old videos as an Opposition leader where he had demanded for then CM Chandrababu Naidu’s resignations over previous incidents.
A Twitterati tweeted, “This was @ysjagan aggressive response over Mullapadu Bus accident in 2017. He warned the then Krishna Dist collector that he will be jailed for being irresponsible. Whats ur response on #Tirupati #RUIA incident

Meanwhile, people have questioned the whereabouts of newly-elected MP Dr Gurumurthy and Chittoor-incharge minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy. People have also asked where AP State Health Minister Alla Nani is? The absence and silence of the ministers and leaders at this hour have become a talking point. Many have also questioned CM Jagan for not visiting Tirupati yet.
