In a blistering attack against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has come down heavily on the Union Government and PM. Rahul has alleged that PM Modi is “missing” along with the Covid-19 vaccines, oxygen supply and medicines during the pandemic. He added that what remains is GST on medicines, PM Modi’s photos here and there and the central vista project.
“The prime minister is also missing, along with vaccines, oxygen and medicines. All that remain are the central vista project, GST on medicines and the prime minister’s photos here and there,” Rahul Gandhi said in a tweet in Hindi.
Meanwhile, Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala referred to a news report about the bodies being buried in sand in Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao and tweeted, “What time has come in this New India that even dead bodies floating in rivers are not visible to the government. Shame.”
India’s Covid-19 tally surged with the 3,62,727 new cases reported in the last 24 hours. The total Covid-19 tally touched 2,37,03,665. The Covid-19 related death toll touched 2,58,317 with 4120 fatalities in the past day.
