Narsapur MP Raghurama Krishna Raju’s arrest by AP CID police and subsequent developments have become hot topic in political circles. However, Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu’s keen interest in the RRR case and his response on day-to-day happenings is raising many eye-balls. This is indeed giving scope to ruling YSRCP leaders to target Naidu as well as Raju and allege that Raju is making critical comments at the behest of Chandrababu.
Even as YCP leaders target Naidu and Raju and leveling allegations that Raju has conspired to destabilize the state government and Naidu was behind this conspiracy, Naidu is in no mood to stop his attack on Jagan’s government over RRR issue.
The latest is that Chandrababu Naidu has written a letter to state Governor as well as Union Home Ministry against the act of AP state government and its ill-treatment to MP Raghurama Krishna Raju.
While CID police and AP state government allege that Raju’s provoking comments on one particular community could instigate violence in the state and his series of attacks against the government was part of conspiracy and Raju’s video has been attached as the proof, it needs to be seen how this whole case would revolve.
Meanwhile, Chandrababu’s over-interest in this case and his attempt to back Raju is drawing mixed response. Raju’s arrest is also in line with the arrest of TDP’s senior leaders who were arrested by AP state government in various cases and all those arrests were made during the weekends like Raju’s arrest. So, this gives clear indication that Jagan’s government is considering Raghurama Krishna Raju on par with the TDP leaders. Meanwhile, BJP’s top brass is silent on the whole episode.
