There has been wide criticism on Telangana CM KCR, the way he is handling Covid-19. The opposition have made comments that did he ever visit Gandhi hospital which is a dedicated Covid hospital but the situation at this place always makes it to the headlines.
Well in a surprise, KCR visited Gandhi hospital on Wednesday and this is his first ever visit to the hospital as CM which took seven long years. Learning about CM’s visit, the Gandhi hospital authorities have sanitised the place and frontline workers cleaned the premises.
KCR visited the ICU, emergency and Outpatient (OP) wards where Covid positive patients are getting treated. He interacted with a couple of patients and their family members for an hour and asked them to be brave and would recover very soon. KCR also met a few medicos who received a stipend hike the other day.
But shockingly KCR did not wear PPE kit while visiting the wards and interacting with the patients. He protected himself with double masks and nowhere had he touched anything to be on the safer side.
Also recently the Telangana government has decided to establish oxygen plants at every government hospital across the state. In that view, KCR had a look at the oxygen plant set up at Gandhi.
The Telangana CM was accompanied by Finance Minister Harish Rao and Gandhi hospital doctors.
Phew, after a long time, Covid-19 handling appears to be going in the right direction in Telangana.
