Narsapuram MP Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju who was granted bail by the Supreme Court in the sedition case, is yet to be released. This morning RRR’s advocates approached the Guntur Magistrate and requested the court to release him directly from the Army hospital in Secunderabad.
The Magistrate enquired about RRR’s health from the doctors and they informed that the MP needs another couple of days of treatment. So RRR might be released after a final report from the Army hospital and eventually his release will inevitably get delayed.
With the case in trail court pending and RRR being a CID’s remand inmate, the Guntur Magistrate will look into the directives of Supreme Court in granting bail. The process is long but RRR advocates are hopeful that he would set free anytime this week.
