Konda To Follow Etala In BJP

The suspense has finally ended with Etala Rajender deciding to quit TRS and join BJP. In a week’s time all the formalities will be over and Etala will be a saffron man. Inclusion of Etala will give BJP a good boost and in order to double it, former MLA DK Aruna entered the scene.

Late this evening Aruna met former MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy and learned about the latter’s future political course. But Aruna reportedly informed Konda to take a call at the earliest and off-the-record invited him to join BJP. To this, Konda has responded positively.

In March Konda had quit the Congress party citing its inefficiency to counter KCR. He has been dodging the idea of joining BJP or remain as an independent with no political party affiliation. There came reports that Konda might join forces with the likes of Professor Kodandaram and Teenmaar Mallanna. In fact Konda showed interest in working them but ultimately a political party is the need of the hour.

Also the Telangana BJP has been trying to bring leaders thrown out by KCR into its fold. They did not succeed as anticipated but they haven’t given up. After Etala, Konda is another bankable leader from Telangana and if BJP can manage to get him, they are definitely on the right road.
