In a significant development, the Telangana state has relaxed the lockdown norms. With sharp decline in the daily Covid-19 cases, the state has decided to extend the relaxation norms from 6 AM to 5 PM. The shops and commercial activities should end by 5 PM. However, public movement is allowed till 6 PM.
The state administration has decided to continue the nigh curfew which will be there from 6 PM to 6 AM. The working and business hours have been stretched from 1 PM to 5 PM. The state cabinet which met today has taken this key decision.
Meanwhile, the night curfew has been extended for another 10 days. The state government is likely to revise its decision on night curfew after a week depending on then situation.
Some Parts Of State To Have Lockdown After 1 PM
The new lockdown relaxation norms are not valid for some areas where Covid-19 spread is intact. Sathupalli, Madhira, Nalgonda, Nagarjuna Sagar, Deverakonda, Munugodu, Miryalaguda constituencies will have working hours from 6 AM to 1 PM. The state cabinet has decided to continue the lockdown restrictions in these areas.
