Remember Gone Prakash Rao? The former APSRTC chairman strongly opposed Telangana statehood and stood by the side of late YS Rajasekhar Reddy and after his death, he was with YS Jagan. Prakash even batted for Jagan to make him CM post YSR’s death. After AP bifurcation, Gone Prakash bid good bye to politics and is currently into food business.
But suddenly Prakash turned foe of Jagan and lashed out at the latter and YCP government. Prakash was receiving threats from NRI YCP followers and they dared him to hold a press meet in AP instead of Telangana.
Taking up this challenge, Gone Prakash Rao reached Tirupati and called on the press. “Jagan’s NRI followers asked me to hold a press meet in AP and so I’m here. I can also hold a press meet in Jagan’s home district Kadapa,” said Prakash.
On the YCP government and its governance, he criticised that Jagan failed in both development and welfare. “Tomorrow or day after Jagan’s bail will be cancelled. If BJP had given a thought about both Jagan and KCR, they will be put behind bars in no time,” said Prakash.
Not stopping here, Prakash even lashed out at YCP honorary president YS Vijayamma. “Being an honorary president of ruling party in AP, how come she supported her daughter Sharmila’s political party in Telangana. Even if she supported why did not Jagan’s party serve show-cause notices to Vijayamma,” questioned Prakash.
This is a very logical question from Prakash and wonder why Jagan remained silent on his mother’s act till date.
Then Prakash added that Vijayamma’s ‘Naalo Naatho YSR’ book is nothing but utter lies. Citing the example of Jagan’s absence in YSR’s walkathon (Paadayatra), it was mentioned in the book that Jagan was with YSR throughout the walkathon but that’s not true. “Even if Ambati Rambabu or Lagadapati Rajagopal or anyone proves that Jagan was with YSR during the walkathon, I will hang myself to death,” challenged Gone Prakash.
These are some serious comments coming from a staunch follower of YSR.
