The Andhra Pradesh government has released the schedule of Common Entrance Tests (CET) and made a key change to one of its most common examination. EAMCET (Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test) has been renamed as EAPCET which is defined as Engineering Agricultural and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test.
Education minister Adimulapu Suresh stated that the government will be conducting engineering, agriculture and pharmacy exams under one category. But Suresh did not reveal the real reason behind relabeling. The notification for EAPCET will be released on June 24th and the applications will be accepted from June 26th. The last date to send applications is July 25th and with fine of Rs 10,000, the applications will be accepted till August 18th.
The schedule of EAPCET is from August 19th to August 25th. On the other common entrance tests such as ICET, PG CET, EDCET, Law CET, minister Suresh added that the government is planning to hold them in September first or second week. But the decision and dates are not finalised yet.
