The bifurcation of the united Andhra Pradesh resulted in a lot of unresolved issues between the two Telugu states. Water sharing is one of the issues. The political leaders of both the states engaged in a war of words regarding the same.
Recently, YSRCP MLA Roja also warned the Telangana leaders not to pass unnecessary comments on their party leaders. She alleged that the Telangana government is doing injustice to the people of AP. However, another leader from YSRCP made interesting comments about the relationship between AP CM YS Jagan and Telangana CM KCR.
AP Deputy CM Narayana Swamy visited Tirupathi to worship Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy on Sunday. On this occasion, he spoke to the media about the existing water war between the Telugu states.
“KCR told us that he will support Andhra Pradesh. He responded positively to the distribution of water to the Rayalaseema region. Our CM Jagan has great admiration for Telangana CM KCR. I urge everyone not to create unnecessary rifts between the people of both states. A few people are projecting Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as India and Pakistan which is not correct. Both the state CMs will solve the issue over a peaceful discussion.” he said.
