Former Member of Parliament and Union Minister of State, Bandaru Dattatreya transferred and appointed as the new Governor for the state of Haryana. He is currently serving as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh. Not only Dattatreya, but the President of India appointed new Governors for other states as well.
Andhra Pradesh BJP leader and former state president of the party, Kambhampati Hari Babu appointed as the new Governor of Mizoram. He served as a member of Parliament for the Visakhapatnam constituency from 2014-19. PS Sreedharan Pillai, who is now the Governor of Mizoram, is transferred and appointed as the Governor of Goa.
Satyadev Narayan Arya, Governor of Haryana, is transferred and appointed as the new Governor of Tripura. The present Governor of Tripura, Ramesh Bias, is transferred and appointed as the Governor of Jharkhand. Thaawarchand Gehlot, Mangubhai Chhaganbhai Patel, and Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar are appointed as the Governors of Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh respectively. The appointments will come into effect from the day they assume charge of their offices.
