Actor and humanitarian Sonu Sood, who is now eminently known for helping people and families suffering from Covid and other ailments amidst the pandemic met Telangana’s Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KTR.

Sonu Sood has been instrumental in helping many people get hospital beds and procuring oxygen across the nation for the past year. Today, the actor met KTR at Pragati Bhavan and was accompanied by filmmakers Vamshi Paidipally and Meher Ramesh. Sonu is said to have lauded and appraised KTR of the work he is doing to help the Covid-19 patients.

Also, KTR praised Sonu Sood for his tireless work all through these months. KTR also assured him support in the long run, especially to continue his philanthropic activities. KTR appreciated the actor for assembling a team and reaching out to the needy 24/7.

KTR and Sonu Sood had a Twitter exchange earlier. When a Twitter user called KTR, he wrote ‘Am just an elected public representative doing my bit brother. You can call Sonu Sood a super hero for sure’. Sonu Sood responded to the same saying, ‘Thank you so much sir for your kind words! But you are truly a hero who has done so much for Telengana. The state has developed so much under your leadership. I consider Telengana as my second Home as its my place of work & the people have shown me so much love over the years.’ Sonu Sood also said he will keep the mission ON and is looking forward to meeting KTR when he is back in Hyderabad next.

With KTR’s compliments, Sonu said that his source of inspiration is his mother who always wanted to help the people. He further stated that he shall continue doing the noble work and try creating a positive impact in society for eternity.
