Kishan Reddy, who has been promoted from Minister of State (MoS) for Home Affairs to Union Cabinet Ministry rank, has been allocated the portfolio. According to reports, Kishan Reddy has got the Cultural and Tourism portfolio. In addition to this, Kishan Reddy has been given the additional task of development of the North-east region.
The meetings of Cabinet Ministers and Council of Ministers (CoM) will be held tomorrow, July 8, at 5 pm and 7 pm respectively. Among the 36 new faces in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’ s reshuffled cabinet, eight have been identified as lawyers, four are doctors, two former IAS officers and four MBA degree holders, besides several engineers, making it a perfect mix of professionals.
