ECI’s Strong Action Against Violence In AP

ECI addressed post-poll violence in AP by approving various measures: transferring the Collector in Palnadu and initiating a departmental enquiry, suspending SP in Palnadu, Ananthapuramu, transferring the SP in Tirupati, suspending 12 subordinate police officials in affected districts, forming a SIT, and retaining 25 CAPF companies for 15 days after counting to control potential violence.
