Iran president Ebrahim Raisi dies in helicopter crash

Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi has died in a helicopter crash, confirmed by Iranian state media. The crash, in mountainous terrain and bad weather, claimed the lives of Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollhian, and other officials. Rescue teams found no survivors at the crash site, where Raisi’s helicopter was completely burned in the crash.
